It's Getting so close to Christmas and yard decorations are getting up. I really love seeing them. We went to a Light display last night. A town close by had one every year.

Last night my neighbors had a party in their backyard. Sometime ago they put in a stone patio. I really haven't seen them use it much. Occasionally the kids have a group over, and they have had a couple family get together's. Last evening they had their fire pit going and candles burning all over the patio. the laughter and smell reminding me of Fall. I know that's crazy...It's Spring! Just found out "Hope for Haiti Now" will be on all network channels and some cable ones....so I will have to dial up a movie. Not that I'm not for helping Haiti but too much death has been around me and I am trying to stay up. The Mummy is on and Star trek, may I will watch a pay per view one.

It was a beautiful day here. We watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade on the Tube. I cooked and Then watched the National dog show with Hubby.
Sadie the Scottish Terrier won.
But...
That Great Dane Took my breathe away.... he was Huge and only 2 years old!

We have for years decorated our yard for winter. The Snowman, Deer, Blowups and Snow machine are among our favorites. This year we will be doing the back yard only. That way I can see it every day and enjoy the winter scene. Here is a Question for you.

I really like the bonfires in the Fall time. There are several around here. Some Fall festivals have them and serve hot apple cider or spiced wine. While visiting Williamsburg there is always one burning. It really puts one in the Holiday mood when a Bonfire is around. The smell is so fall/winter to me. We have a fire pit in our yard and we do have fires this time of year in the evenings. My daughter love to roast marshmallows and I like to have spiced cider or Gluhwine

I have posted through the months some of my favorite Trees. On vacation I have seen a lot of different trees. Some brought back memories of long ago. So today's Question to you is: What is your favorite Tree of all times, that is which tree catches your eyes the most?
My answer is the Blue Spruce. I remember it as I child, I just love the looks. We have one down the street from us and in the winter it truly glistens.
