Aloha Friday -outdoor fun.
Here is your question:
Do you like having or going to bonfires this time of year?
I really like the bonfires in the Fall time. There are several around here. Some Fall festivals have them and serve hot apple cider or spiced wine. While visiting Williamsburg there is always one burning. It really puts one in the Holiday mood when a Bonfire is around. The smell is so fall/winter to me. We have a fire pit in our yard and we do have fires this time of year in the evenings. My daughter love to roast marshmallows and I like to have spiced cider or Gluhwine

It is too cold and wet here now, we do fires in the summer months. And, I love them.
ReplyDeleteI would love to, but we don't.
ReplyDeleteUsed to love them when growing up. These days I am not sure if my asthma could deal with the smoke.
ReplyDeleteIt must be fun. I would love to try it.
ReplyDeleteNot so much as an adult. I'm a stick in the mud with bonfires.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a public bonfire, but I love a small one. We don't have a safe place for a bonfire in our yard, but I've been looking longingly at the small fire pits for the patio. Maybe someday.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to a bonfire in years. I think high school as a matter of fact :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't really have bonfires here. We used to when i was younger in my home town, but not here.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to a big one, but don't know of any around here. We use a little fire pit in the back yard :D
ReplyDeleteI' ve never been to a bonfire so I don't know. I'd love to go to one. I love trying new things!
ReplyDeletebeing a UK resident we have 'bonfire' or the traditional name 'Guy Fawkes night' every year on the 5th November. Big bonfires are arranged but people also have small ones in their gardens. there are also fireworks and the traditional burning the guy. It is always celebrated and this year we will be having all the family round and having a bonfire with sparklers, fireworks, hot-dogs and jacket potatoes...yum!!!
ReplyDeleteI've only ever gone to one bon fire that was our Senior Graduation pre-grad night bon fire. Haven't been one to since :( It think its hard with all the trees here
