A Ruby Cherry Festival

With spring around the corner the National Cherry Blossom Festival will be in a couple of weeks. We so look forward to the activities. Here Are some views from last years Festival.

The is the National Cherry Blossom float

a closer look

It's ironic that the beaver is telling us to leave the blossoms alone, The beavers were the critters that were gnawing down the cherry trees along the Potomac. Using the Cherry tree wood for their dams. You can enlarge the photo to read the sign. I guess they learn their lesson.....We trapped them and relocated the beavers to the National Zoo.

And finally the dancers in the National Museum. Oh I can't wait for this years National Cherry Blossom Festival.

  23. Imagine.. celebrating a national cherry blossom week. How wonderful. The world would be a far better place if we celebrated the wonders of mother nature instead of making military parades et cetera.
Hope you are having great fun.
