This is a Ruby Tuesday Post

We used to go to Hershey Park every year when my daughter was in middle school. She plays the Cello in the Orchestra. Each year the school went to compete in a National Music competition. It was called Music in the Parks. We always made it a weekend full of fun. One year we visited the Hershey Gardens. Look what we found!

Here is a tree we found in the Gardens.

A little closer view

Now to the top
this one is a must to enlarge

Now we can not forget the Licorice,
Yummy but this one not for the tummy.

Sending you off with a Kiss. One can't leave the park without the Hershey Kisses!

They blew Water vapor out of the tops.

  5. Wow that tree carving was very cool. I love the detail in the birds. What a fun way to use a tree that would probably otherwise have been taken out. I love the red licorice fence, very fun for a park with a candy name. Looks like a fun weekend.
If you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.

  15. It looks like a great place to visit!
That tree is amazing. They have made art out of something that would have been chopped down elsewhere. They should do that to every tree.

  16. We drove through the edges of Hershey but sure did miss Hershey Park. We should slow down to smell the stuff around.
I hope your RT was happy. Thank you for your visit to mine. Yes, that is a gourd especially made to be a Cuban instrument called a Shekere that wasn't from Cuba.
Our church bought it for the orchestra. The answer blog has a YouTube showing how it is played.
