We used to go to Hershey Park every year when my daughter was in middle school. She plays the Cello in the Orchestra. Each year the school went to compete in a National Music competition. It was called Music in the Parks. We always made it a weekend full of fun. One year we visited the Hershey Gardens. Look what we found!

Here is a tree we found in the Gardens.

Sending you off with a Kiss. One can't leave the park without the Hershey Kisses!
They blew Water vapor out of the tops.
Some people seem to have had a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteLovely gardens there at Hershey - my kids went there a few years ago on a high school band trip.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ruby Tuesday ~
What a fun place!! love the giant licorice and the kisses :)
ReplyDeleteHappy RT!!
Hershey's garden is a wonderfully decorated area, interesting and tranquil at the same time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for a lovely guided tour.

Wow that tree carving was very cool. I love the detail in the birds. What a fun way to use a tree that would probably otherwise have been taken out. I love the red licorice fence, very fun for a park with a candy name. Looks like a fun weekend.
ReplyDeleteIf you'd like to stop by my blog I'm at Cake Crumbs.
Ok, this goes on my list of places to visit!
ReplyDeleteI love those carvings and the licorice is just two cool.
The kisses...hmmmm...I'm craving chocolate. :)
Lovely post!
This is a good work.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful tree, the sculptures are so subtle and natural looking.

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your pictures from Hershey Garden. I only been in Hershey Park once and I rode every roller coaster that day. Happy RT.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun idea for a garden! Thanks for the visit to mine.
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to visit Hershey Park! The carved tree is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteI think I smell chocolate. Mmmmm. I think I'm going to have sweet dreams tonight. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe wood carvings from the tree trunk is lovely :)
ReplyDeleteA closer look at everything brings out a surprise :)
It looks like a great place to visit!
ReplyDeleteThat tree is amazing. They have made art out of something that would have been chopped down elsewhere. They should do that to every tree.
We drove through the edges of Hershey but sure did miss Hershey Park. We should slow down to smell the stuff around.
ReplyDeleteI hope your RT was happy. Thank you for your visit to mine. Yes, that is a gourd especially made to be a Cuban instrument called a Shekere that wasn't from Cuba.
Our church bought it for the orchestra. The answer blog has a YouTube showing how it is played.
..
Cool place! And I love those Hershey kisses. :)
ReplyDeleteMoms... Check Nyo
