Colorado Flowers

All these plants are found it 7,000 to 11,000 ft above sea level.

This is a bed my our friends house,I really liked the brick wall. Most of the home gardens contained these types of plants
A garden to attract hummingbirds and butterflies
These are flower found at 10,000 ft. In a area of the Gold Mines.
I believe these are

Berlandiera lyrata Benth.

Chocolate daisy


The next two photos are of Winter Cactus. they can survive -40 degrees Fahrenheit and can withstand brutally hot heat

Magenta flowers on cholla cactus

Colorado Cactus- there were on the tail end of there flowering. Was told the flowers in full bloom line the Arkansas River banks. What I sight to see!
The hill sides were covered with these plants.
This is a Yucca Glauca Nutt (Soapweed Yucca)
