The Blooms of 2015 In my Garden.

My Yard is blooming with all kinds of things. This year the bloom has been starting later. We had a harsh and long Winter, as must in the East has. I have been traveling a lot with family issues. So I was glad to be home during the blooming season. ( click on the photos for an up close look)

The Lilacs are in bloom. this is a dwarf lilac tree. It blooming for a long time. and the smell is out of the world. It takes me back to the days I lived close to Highland Park. The Lilacs bloom all the time and I loved to take walks through it. Now I can sit outside and enjoy the smell.

These are the azalea along side of the home. They have grown quite a bit since I last posted them. this year their blooms are brighter and fuller. We had a lot of rain this year.

here is the azalea in the backyard. They are just beginning to bud. We had some landscaping done in the early fall, this plant got transplanted to a new location. I am excited to see it Blooming.

Now for the Japanese Maple. This is the same one as on my header. Every year it gets better. It is about 20 years old. Was in the front yard when we purchase the house. We have lived her for 15 years. I usually trim it back. this Photo is before I do the trimming.

So Pumped yeah..... this is the azaleas I planted last year in one of the gardens. The garden had Herbs, which I use in Cooking. I have not got out to it yet for a cleaning up. But I will be doing that next week. Be sure to check back on the project.

I was so thrilled to see the strawberry plants coming in. Oh I  know you we also see the Mint. We love to use it in tea. Will have to tame it again. Every year I do that. Mint is an aggressive plant. but one can contain it with diligence

That is the garden so far. I have another Lilac tree. It is a traditional one. Has not started to bloom. I have moved it several times and it looks like I will have to move it again in the fall. Looking for a sunny location for it.
