While at the Renaissance Fare we purchased a Macrame swing. It can hold two people. We thought we would use our Swing set as a base. You know once the kids get older the swing set becomes less used.

There are many yards that have unused play sets. We are finding another use for it.

The swing set.

A time for sharing.

  1. I love your Macrame swing!! what fun pictures for RT.
Happy Ruby Tuesday, mine is here.

  2. Love that red slide but I am way to old to play... I would do better in that lovely hammock instead!

  3. Down the crimson slide
    we go, zooming fast—then slow
    as feet touch the ground.

  4. How fun, and a great way to repurpose too.

  5. I would love to sit in a swing like that. The old swing base was a great place for you to hang it. Really sweet pictures!

  6. Looks like a lot of fun! Thanks for the visit!

  7. I love that swing. Seems like the perfect way to relax. Thanks for visiting me today and have a wonderful evening.

  8. Nice swing! it sure is fun to have a big yard to play in, I'm staying in a high-rise apartment, there's no yard , just surrounding park/garden.

  9. There's some very lucky children to have such play equipment.

    Thanks for visiting.

  10. Red slide, red swing handles and some lovely red hair. Perfection in your back yard!

  11. auntie e..how is it that you were there with your camera and you did not have a little swing yourself?
i am an old lady now but i can never pass up a swing ride!!

it is just the icing on the cake..

  12. A wonderful idea!
My husband made out kids swing set from wood. When they got older we took down the swings and he made a wooden swing for us. I spent many hours there.
