Ruby Tuesday -Renaissance Fair

Taking a break from my garden post, and going back in time to 1350-1550 AD. Every year we attend a Renaissance fair. It always amazes me how the people love to dress and relive that time. I like it, however would not have liked to live in that time. Today we portray that time as carefree and fun times. Adding amusements and fun food, I do not think if it were real, one would be so eager to be out and about. Here are some photos of the fair's fun times.

Jokers are blowing bubbles through their hands.
They are sitting on the castle entrance top.

Stores along the way
Food,

stores and games

This was a show that was very good. Magic and illusion.

  7. Oh, what fun! We went to a Renaissance fair when my son was a baby (he's almost 15). My daughter (who is 7) would love this fair. All the costumes!

  11. Hi Auntie, you have some really good Renaissance Festival pictures.
We have one here in Plantersville, Texas, about 15 miles from our home. http://www.texrenfest.com/home.html
I have been once but it was too raunchy for me to want to go again.
I wonder if they are franchised, ours has its own place complete with buildings and props which seemed similar to yours.
Happy RT, thank you for peeking in. Yes, in Germany a person gets a pretty strong hint if he stays out in the passing lane when not passing. One year our car was an Audi C6, we stayed in that lane a lot. It went past 240 Km/hr sooooo easily (150 mph--of course my Mustang her goes that fast, easily too).
